OutPost

Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 June 2026

1. Who we are

OutPost is a software product operated by Shanie Martin, trading as OutPost, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom (“OutPost”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at shanie@outpostuk.com. By creating an account or starting a trial you agree to these terms.

2. What OutPost does

OutPost helps you plan and create social media content. It generates draft posts, captions and graphics for you to review and edit. You can publish them yourself, or choose to schedule a specific post and switch on auto-posting for it, in which case OutPost will publish that post to your connected accounts at the time you set. This only happens for posts you actively enable. We never log in with your social account passwords; connections are made through a secure authorised link you approve. You decide what to publish, what to schedule, and what to leave as a draft.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You’re responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity that happens under it. OutPost is for business use.

4. Free trial and subscription

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial of the plan you choose. We ask for a payment method up front. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the plan’s monthly price and renews each month until cancelled. Current prices are shown when you sign up and may change with notice.

5. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend your account until it’s resolved. We don’t store your full card details.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and you keep access until then. Monthly payments already made are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Cancel before your trial ends and you won’t be charged at all.

7. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of the business information, brand assets and content you put into OutPost, and of the posts you publish. You grant us permission to process that material to provide the service. Drafts OutPost generates are yours to use. You’re responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it and for making sure it’s accurate, lawful and yours to post. The OutPost name, software and design remain ours.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t use OutPost to create or publish anything unlawful, misleading, infringing or abusive, and don’t try to break, overload or misuse the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

9. Availability and results

We work hard to keep OutPost running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we can’t guarantee any particular results from the content it produces. AI-generated drafts can contain mistakes, which is why you review everything before publishing.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, OutPost isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using OutPost and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or where we stop offering the service, giving reasonable notice where we can.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. If we make a significant change we’ll let you know. Continuing to use OutPost after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
